The MS-6000 is the industry's only
solution to many specialized mail applications. System
configurations can accommodate different folder locations (upstream,
midstream or downstream) to meet various mail piece design
requirements. The MS-6000 can support the widest range of corner
stitching, nesting and sub-setting applications on the market today.
Multiple print streams can be easily matched with 100% accuracy
making the MS-6000 ideal for closely regulated industries such as
healthcare and insurance. Like all Gunther systems, the MS-6000 can process both cut sheet and continuous applications with no changeover time from one format to the other. Gunther's unique shuffle feeding capability commingles two primary print streams, an option often used in applications such as checks and EOBs or documents originating from both color and monochrome printers. Gunther's primary feeder also feeds intermixed paper weight ranging from 20# bond to 65# cover stock. Documents within applications can vary dynamically from 1 to 15 sheets, depending on fold type. Friction feeders can be combined with vacuum feeders to handle the full spectrum of available inserts. With the convenient convertible option, an operator can quickly switch the MS-6000 from folded to flat mail processing in minutes, with no adjustment to the paper path. From matching checks to EOBs to insurance policy assembly, the MS-6000 is the intelligent solution. Integrity - Ensures regulatory compliance and error-free communications Utilizing Gunther's patented Read Before Feed technology, the MS-6000 maintains complete accuracy within any barcode environment. The
Folded Mail Insertion Module can be switched with a Flat Mail
Insertion Module in just minutes, a conversion that changes a folded
mail platform to one that can process and insert flat documents of
up to 180 sheets into a single 10 x 13 inch envelope. Additionally,
the modular design of the MS-6000 allows you to easily upgrade your
system as your applications requirements change, protecting your
investment for years to come.
The
MS-6000 is the only finishing system on the market to support a full
complement of folder locations. An upstream folder could be used to
fold documents from two separate print streams that are matched or
"shuffled" using two primary feeders. A downstream folder ensures
that inserts will always be nested within the fold, while a
midstream folder can accommodate both nested and non-nested inserts
in the same package.
