The EP series provides fully automated assembly of complex, high page-count flat applications, along with the widest range of in-line finishing options in the industry. The EP-4000 delivers the quality, reliability and integrity that Gunther is known for, making it the ideal platform for insurance policy assembly, agent mailings and complex financial applications, as well as any other sensitive flat applications, that require 100% processing accuracy and integrity.

High Capacity Insertion of Flats

The EP-4000 can handle packages over twice as thick as the nearest competitor. Up to 180 sheets of 20# bond (or equivalent) can be inserted into a single 10 x 13 inch envelope.

Simple solutions to complex applications

The EP-4000 handles the highest page-count applications in the industry today - inserting up to 180 sheets into a single 10 x 13 inch envelope. Friction feeders can be combined with vacuum feeders to handle a full spectrum of enclosures. Multiple print streams can be easily matched with 100% accuracy and even the thickest packages can be metered in-line. With its unique ability to assemble and combine several flights or subsets, the EP-4000 is the best solution for your most complex, dynamic applications. And with the convenient convertible option, an operator can quickly switch the EP-4000 from flat to folded mail processing in minutes. No adjustment to the paper path is necessary.

Binding Options

No other system on the market can offer the range of automated, in-line binding options than the EP-4000 can. Stitching and stapling, corner or booklet style, as well as VeloBind™ and Slip & Grip™ can be selected as needed to enhance package appearance and meet regulatory requirements. Multiple binding options can be easily combined on one platform.
